We're going to teach you...

  • The framework for your next 6 months of 2016 by learning tips, tricks and tools that will help you find, share and write amazing content on your blog, website, on social media and in your newsletters.
  • How to find the right kinds of content that your audience will be interested in and that will help build your relationships with them.
  • How to write compelling content for your email marketing, as well as how often to send them and how to not feel like you’ll cry if someone tells you that you need to start creating one more piece of content.
  • How to know what to say on Facebook and how to make sure people see what you have to say, as well as what is the difference between an account, a page, and a group and how do you know which one(s) you’re supposed to have?!

Are you an entrepreneur or small business owner looking to increase sales from their online audience?

Do you find creating content daunting?

Are you unsure what your potential clients and customers want to know more about from you?

Are you looking to increase your social media presence and increase clicks on your newsletters?

WHAT OUR PLANNING DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:

We’ll start by creating your online framework for the next 6 months.

Why?

Because without a plan how are you going to know if what you’re doing is working, worth the time you’re investing and doing any of the things you actually WANT to have happen.

The framework will be your guide for all the content that you’re creating and sharing and it will help make sure that you don’t feel overwhelmed and frustrated anymore when you think about social media.

How are we going to do that?

Create Digital Content

Lara and Rebecca are going to walk you through the key pieces of a framework: knowing what your goals are (beyond the best one… making more money), knowing who you’re talking to (if you say everyone we’re going to tell you you’re wrong!) and what you want them to know. Once you know those three things THEN you get to pick what channels are the best ones for you to use is THEN we can talk about what kind of content you should be creating. There will be lots of hands-on work that will help you develop a plan for your content over the next week, next month and into next year.

In the afternoon, participants will have the chance to focus on two of four main topics:

  • Content Curation (finding and sharing engaging, relevant content)
  • Email Marketing
  • Using Facebook
  • Blogging

1) Content curation is one of the best ways to build a relationship with your audience without YOU having to write all the content. YAY!

The key is to find the right kinds of content that your audience will be interested in and that will help build your relationships with them. How do you do that? Rebecca will walk you through the key things you need to know so that finding the right content will be easier and you’ll have a system to find that content that won’t feel overwhelming.

2) Email marketing is one of the very best tools in the online marketing arsenal. By getting someone’s email address you are getting access to them in their own space - their inbox. The next step is knowing what to say in those emails, how often to send them and not feeling like you’ll cry if someone tell you you need to start creating one more piece of content. Lara will help you figure out frequency, what the content should look like and give you some tips to make sure you don’t get overwhelmed with the amount of time and content sending emails could take.

3) Facebook is THE most popular social network. If you can only be in one place online, you should probably be on Facebook. But what should you be saying, how do you make sure people see what you have to say and what is the difference between an account, a page, and a group and how do you know which one(s) you’re supposed to have?! Join Rebecca as she talks all things Facebook with you so that you walk away knowing where you should be, what you should be saying and how best take advantage of the power of Facebook. We'll also touch on Instagram, Facebook's younger sibling :)

4) Blogs are one of those things most people think they probably should have but can’t ever imagine prioritizing it enough to make it happen. Join Lara as you talk about WHY a blog is so important (because there are a lot of really great reasons to have one!) and what you need to know to make sure that the time you’re putting in to creating great content is well worth your while (hint: we need to create content that your audience AND the search engines will like and we have tips to share to make that happen).

Sound familiar?

I don’t know what to say online!

I don’t have the time to create content!

I don’t know where I should be focusing my time!

I don’t know where to start online!

These won't be a problem after our day together!
